Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to Koffi, including the Koffi website, the Koffi Apple ecosystem apps, and related services (together, the “Services”), operated by Koffi (“Koffi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using Koffi, you agree to these Terms.

1. Using Koffi

You may use Koffi only for lawful purposes and in line with these Terms.

You agree not to:

  • misuse, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Services;
  • reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Services except where law allows it;
  • use Koffi to violate laws or other people’s rights.

2. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate account information;
  • keeping your account credentials secure;
  • activity that occurs under your account.

If you think your account was used without permission, contact us right away.

3. Paid Features and Subscriptions

Koffi may offer paid plans (for example, Koffi Pro). If you purchase a paid plan:

  • pricing, billing cycles, and included features are shown at checkout;
  • payments are processed by third-party payment providers;
  • subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before renewal;
  • except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

4. Integrations and Third-Party Services

Koffi may connect to third-party services like Apple Calendar and Linear. By connecting these services, you authorize us to access and process data needed to provide integration features.

We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, or policy changes. Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies.

5. Your Content

You keep ownership of content you create or upload in Koffi (such as tasks, projects, notes, and account profile data).

You give us a limited license to host, process, sync, and display that content only as needed to operate and improve Koffi.

6. Intellectual Property

Koffi and its branding, software, and site content are owned by Koffi or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of Koffi.

7. Service Availability

We work to keep Koffi available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change, be suspended, or be removed at any time.

8. Disclaimers and Liability

Koffi is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Koffi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability for any claim related to Koffi is limited to the greater of:

  • USD $50, or
  • the amount you paid us for the Services in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using Koffi at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if needed to protect Koffi, our users, or our systems.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of Koffi after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, excluding conflict of laws rules. Legal disputes will be brought in courts located in Kenya, and you consent to that venue.
