This Privacy Policy explains how Koffi (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Koffi website, the Koffi macOS app, and related services (the “Services”).

By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account information, such as your name and email address.
  • Login and verification information you submit during sign up or sign in.
  • Content you create in Koffi, such as tasks, projects, milestones, due dates, reminders, and workspace/organization data.
  • Messages you send us (for example, support requests).

Information from integrations

If you connect integrations, we may collect and process data from those services, such as:

  • Apple Calendar event data you allow us to access;
  • Linear integration and issue data.

Technical information

  • Basic device and app diagnostics, logs, and API request metadata needed to operate and secure the Services.
  • Website usage data and cookie data, where applicable.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • create and manage accounts;
  • authenticate sign-in and maintain sessions;
  • provide core product features, including task/project management and sync;
  • provide and maintain integrations (such as Apple Calendar and Linear);
  • check and manage subscription/checkout status for paid features;
  • secure, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Local Storage and Cloud Sync

Koffi stores some data locally on your device. If sync features are enabled, relevant account and product data is also sent to and stored in our backend systems so your data can sync across sessions, devices, and related features.

4. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • infrastructure and hosting providers that support our Services;
  • payment and checkout providers used for subscriptions;
  • integration providers you connect (such as Apple and Linear), as required for those features;
  • legal or regulatory authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;
  • a successor entity in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

We do not sell personal information for money.

5. Cookies and Tracking

Our website does not track you or use cookies, and does not ask for any information that can be used to identify you.​​

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
